FAQ Short Term Loans

We are an ethical, professional website offering to help you through a time of financial emergency. Here are a list of frequently asked questions.

Am I eligible for a short term loan?

If you are 18 or over at the time of application, you are living and working in the UK and have a bank account into which a regular income is deposited, you can apply for a loan. You must also ensure that you are able to repay the loan by your next payday.

How much can I borrow?

You are more likely to be accepted by a lender for a smaller amount if this is your first application. You can in theory be accepted for as much as £1,000, but first time applicants are encouraged to apply for £400-500 or less.

How long will it take to get a loan?

The application process is very quick-just one form to fill in and a few minutes to wait for a decision. You may be able to receive money into your account within an hour-but this service does depend on your individual loan provider and the speed at which your bank can accept deposits.

Can I still apply even though I have a poor credit rating?

You can still apply and you may well be accepted. All circumstances are considered, and bad credit need not exclude you from short term loans-just check with your individual provider for details.

What is Auto Decisioning?

Auto Decisioning allows lenders to make a decision on your loan application without the need for human interaction, for more information please contact your lender or see their privacy policy.

This is because all lenders use AD, and were all required to be clear and transparent, there is NO requirement for this to be prominent at all.

What happens if my application is refused?

If your loan application is refused because your lender cannot verify or confirm certain information, you may be referred to an alternative lender. Your details will never be sold on to third parties. Your data will never be sold onto third parties, unless you opt in.

How do I repay my loan?

The repayments are very simple; the amount will be debited through your bank, either by debit card or through standing order or direct debit. If you find you are having trouble repaying, ALWAYS contact your lender immediately to discuss your options and potential repayment alternatives.

Are you a direct lender?

No we do not lend directly, we are a broker using the most advanced technology to search through the database of the top 40 UK short term loan lenders. We find the ideal lender for you with the best terms and decision times, quickly and efficiently.
